The winner of the 9th The NFT of the Week is a collection called ‘Delft Blue’ by female digital artist Dodsicle.

There are thirteen 1 of 1 pieces in this NFT collection inspired by the Delft Blue pottery. All NFTs were made by hand using MS Paint. The artist tells the story in her creations about where the famous white and blue colours come from. These porcelain colours originate from the city of Delft in the Netherlands, where it has been produced since the 17th century. In fact, many people will know it from Dutch souvenirs.

She writes “the Delft Blue pottery brings me back to my late grandmother’s home. She had traditional Delft blue tiles in her kitchen and some Delft blue vases in her living room. She was also an artist, making beautiful wall hangings. This collection is a tribute to her,” truly a beautiful and heartfelt way of remembering someone special.

This collection is minted on OpenSea.
